Job summary

We are looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist to join the Sustainable Design & Sustainable Procurement Team, focusing on Onshore Wind and Solar & Batteries projects. This role involves implementing sustainable solutions and technologies to meet sustainability targets and reduce carbon footprints.

Qualifications

• Solid academic background in an environmental discipline (e.g., environmental engineering or similar)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an environmental or sustainability role within the energy sector
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex topics into actionable recommendations
• Proven ability to drive initiatives in cross-functional organizations
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
• Effective communication skills in multidisciplinary, international environments
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Structured and adaptable, managing changing priorities
• Passionate about sustainability with a strong business mindset

Responsibilities

• Translate sustainability targets into actionable steps during project development and construction
• Innovate and develop sustainable solutions for the Onshore Wind portfolio
• Develop and evaluate sustainability criteria for procurement tenders and engage with suppliers to enhance supply chain sustainability
