Job summary

The Engineering Director for E-Invoicing will lead a team of over 30 engineers to develop a robust and scalable e-invoicing platform, focusing initially on the French market in anticipation of regulatory changes. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, strategic vision, and operational excellence to ensure successful product delivery and compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in leading engineering organizations, including managing managers and scaling teams in complex environments.
• Strong technical background with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performing systems.
• Experience in navigating regulatory and compliance environments.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in French as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the engineering strategy for the e-invoicing domain, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Lead and mentor an engineering organization, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Ensure successful delivery against product and regulatory milestones, particularly for the French e-invoicing platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business priorities.
• Coach engineering managers and senior engineers to enhance their leadership and technical capabilities.
• Improve operational excellence by enhancing predictability, quality, and security across teams.
