Embedded Software Engineer (Healthcare, Remote)

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Broad experience as a software developer, particularly in embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware, software, and drivers for embedded devices.
• Collaborate with the embedded software team and application software team on interface and functionality development.
• Support documentation efforts to meet software medical device and cybersecurity standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Experience with embedded Linux, preferably Yocto.
• Knowledge of developing software and documentation for medical devices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles or a willingness to learn.
• Experience implementing Linux drivers.
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Education

• University degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar field.
