Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Specialist (Renewable Energy, Aarhus)

Job summary

This role focuses on the design, simulation, verification, and certification of electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) solutions for wind turbine platforms, contributing to sustainable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in E3 disciplines
• Proven expertise in E3 simulation, design, testing, and verification
• Familiarity with international standards and certification processes
• Experience in the wind industry or with complex electrical systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in E3 areas such as EMC and lightning protection
• Lead product and technology initiatives related to E3, providing technical analysis and design guidance
• Establish and enhance E3 requirements and verification procedures at various levels
• Conduct product level testing and analyze results
• Support certification processes and prepare compliance documentation
• Perform root cause analysis on E3 issues during development or operation
• Drive improvements in guidelines, methods, and technical documentation
