DSP Tools Engineer

Job summary

This role involves developing and enhancing internal tools for audiological solutions, aimed at improving the workflow for developers and researchers in the field. The position is situated within a collaborative R&D team focused on creating impactful hearing healthcare technology.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with scripting in Windows and Linux environments (Powershell, Bash, cmd, WSL, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience applying GenAI tools to optimize workflows.
• Strong focus on code refactoring, maintainability, and improving legacy code.
• Holistic understanding of tools and infrastructure, along with software development practices.
• Structured approach to technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frameworks for algorithm development and integration.
• Develop test systems for validating audiological algorithms.
• Create tools for deploying features into products.
• Design prototyping tools for hearing aid prescription and performance simulation.
• Maintain testing hardware and support engineering colleagues.

Skills

Tools

• Experience with Matlab and Simulink is a plus.
