Director, Generative AI Experience Engineering

Job summary

This role involves leading the design and delivery of AI-native customer experiences across various platforms for prominent brands. The position requires a blend of technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and client advisory skills to navigate the evolving landscape of AI technology.

Qualifications

• Strong background in engineering or development with expertise in frontend architecture.
• Experience in AI systems engineering and generative experience design.
• Proven ability to mentor and manage a team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of AI-native experience platforms, ensuring hands-on involvement with engineering teams.
• Shape AI-native customer experiences through intent-driven design and adaptive orchestration.
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to develop technical strategies and engineering roadmaps.
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to translate technical concepts into customer value.
• Drive innovation through rapid proof-of-concepts and production acceleration initiatives.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of modern frontend engineering, particularly with React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with AI ecosystems, including OpenAI and other modern AI models.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Vercel and GCP.
• Proficiency in REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and MACH architectures.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and cloud services for deployment and optimization.
