This role translates governance and regulatory requirements into technical capabilities within a cloud lakehouse architecture, focusing on computational governance rather than manual processes.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in data governance or related fields.
• Proven expertise in implementing governance models and practices.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, particularly Databricks Unity Catalog.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a computational governance model with standardized and automated controls.
• Ensure governance is integrated into data platforms, avoiding manual processes.
• Serve as the technical authority for enterprise data governance within the lakehouse architecture.
• Oversee Master Data Management practices across various domains, ensuring consistency and alignment.
• Define and manage enterprise data governance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Educate and enable business data stewards on governance best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to operationalize regulatory requirements and support audits.
• Drive innovation through automation and machine learning to enhance governance processes.
