Development Analyst

Job summary

The Development Analyst will support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and automation tools within the Office of Information Technology and Management. This role focuses on enhancing automation solutions to drive efficiency and innovation aligned with organizational strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a relevant contract type as defined in the job title (Tier 0, 1, or 2).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications using Rust, Node.js, and Python.
• Architect and build cloud-ready applications using Docker and microservices principles.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design digital solutions for operational challenges.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation for developed solutions.

Skills

• Proficiency in Rust, Node.js, Python, and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize application performance.
• Experience with agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
