Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing the Developer Experience as a strategic priority, aiming to improve documentation, tooling, and integration capabilities for developers and partners in the payments sector. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create a seamless integration experience for various user types.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in developer tools, documentation platforms, or technical products.
• Strong technical knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and AI coding agents.
• Proficient in Docs-as-Code methodologies, including Git workflows and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with modern documentation platforms and vendor evaluation frameworks.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience in regulated industries like financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision for documentation and developer journeys based on user feedback.
• Enhance product discoverability for developers across various entry points.
• Create onboarding pathways that simplify complex payment concepts for developers.
• Establish standards for both AI agent-readiness and human readability.
• Ensure quality from code samples to content structure throughout the integration process.
• Develop a contributing model for product teams to maintain documentation consistency.
• Make informed decisions on whether to build or buy solutions that enhance delivery.
• Utilize developer feedback and analytics to prioritize platform improvements.

Skills

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
