Desktop Support Engineer L2 (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

Seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer L2 to manage hardware, software, and IT assets across multiple locations in Denmark. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues, managing escalations, and mentoring junior staff in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or higher.
• Administrative access to core systems including Microsoft Active Directory and enterprise diagnostic tools.
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and encryption platforms.
• Established communication pathways with third-party vendors.
• Availability for off-hours schedules and shift plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second-level support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues across Windows 7-10, Mac OS, and MS Office 365.
• Use diagnostic tools for Break/Fix repairs on desktops, laptops, and printers, ensuring documentation in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex AV and antivirus issues to third-party vendors while maintaining communication with end-users.
• Mentor Band 1 technicians and assist Band 3 Engineers with detailed ticket diagnostics.
• Participate in project-based assignments and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
