About the role

Job summary

This internship offers a chance to assist the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH) Team in creating engaging digital content and visual materials while gaining experience within the UN system.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Communications, Digital Media, Web Design, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in the above fields may also be considered if enrolled in a Master's program in social sciences, law, or international development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and update visual materials such as infographics, factsheets, posters, and social media assets.
  • Adapt global PSEAH materials for various audiences and contexts.
  • Assist with layout and formatting of reports and learning materials.
  • Maintain and update PSEAH-related content on internal and external websites.
  • Upload and organize digital resources and knowledge products.
  • Develop online content including web articles and visual storytelling materials.
  • Provide administrative support for PSEAH communications activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
  • Basic experience with website content management systems is a plus.
  • Strong interest in design and digital communications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to create clear visual content.

Education

  • Enrollment in a relevant degree program or recent graduation is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with design software and website management tools.
