Demand Planning Manager (Manufacturing, Remote)

Job summary

The Demand Planning Manager will lead the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between commercial demand, operational capabilities, and financial objectives. This role involves redesigning the planning setup and influencing processes to enhance strategic and tactical capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP
• Experience in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar)
• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools is a plus
• Proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in data modeling or data science capabilities is advantageous

• Own and enhance the global S&OP process with strong governance and stakeholder alignment
• Improve demand planning accuracy and shape demand effectively
• Manage the demand forecast across various products and markets
• Develop realistic supply plans that balance capacity, lead times, and inventory targets
• Oversee Master Production Planning across global production sites
• Act as Business Process Owner for MRP, ensuring data quality and consistency
• Facilitate alignment between Sales, Product Management, Operations, Procurement, and R&D
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure operational readiness
• Identify risks and opportunities through scenario planning and data analysis
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and KPIs
• Up to 20% travel required
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
