About the role

Job summary

The role involves leading the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between commercial demand, operational capabilities, and financial objectives. The Demand Planning Manager will play a crucial role in redesigning the planning setup and influencing processes and tools to enhance strategic capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or similar field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or S&OP.
  • Experience in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in data modeling or data science is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the global S&OP process with strong governance.
  • Improve demand planning, focusing on forecast accuracy and demand shaping.
  • Manage the demand forecast across various products and markets.
  • Develop realistic supply plans balancing capacity, lead times, and inventory targets.
  • Oversee Master Production Planning across global production sites.
  • Act as Business Process Owner for MRP, ensuring data quality.
  • Facilitate alignment between Sales, Product Management, Operations, Procurement, and R&D.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure operational readiness.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through scenario planning and data analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and KPIs.
