Job summary

This role focuses on automating core work processes for teams worldwide, transitioning from outdated Excel systems to structured solutions. The position involves collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and effective migration strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Power Automate, and other Microsoft tools (VBA, Forms, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills to re-engineer legacy Excel files into maintainable solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work iteratively with end-users and adapt solutions based on feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global teams to initiate automation of core processes centered around Excel spreadsheets.
  • Design scalable solutions in partnership with engineers, analysts, and software developers.
  • Ensure data integrity, traceability, and version control throughout migration projects.
  • Support the development of solutions for handover to operational teams.

Skills

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python preferred) and database knowledge (SQL).
  • Experience with data integration tools like Power BI.
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git or GitHub).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) and APIs.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data management or related fields.

Tools

  • MS Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools. Familiarity with scripting and database management tools is a plus.
