Data Consultant (Finance & Decarbonization)

Job summary

This role involves acting as a strategic advisor and delivery lead within the Data, AI & Analytics team, focusing on enhancing the data landscape to support operational and financial performance across Group Finance and Decarbonization. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to define priorities and translate them into actionable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Analytical mindset with a passion for data
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
• Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas emissions reporting, particularly using the GLEC framework is a plus

Responsibilities

• Consult with business stakeholders to identify data opportunities
• Own and maintain the data roadmap and backlog for the area
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to deliver high-impact data products
• Define and support KPIs and OKRs in collaboration with Finance and Decarbonization
• Facilitate prioritization and planning for development initiatives
• Ensure governance and architectural alignment with central data teams
• Champion continuous improvement and foster a culture of learning

Skills

• Strong mix of technical capabilities and project management skills
• Ability to maintain a holistic overview of a large business area

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field

Tools

• Experience with cloud-native platforms and scalable data architecture
