Data & Analytics Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves developing and enhancing a modern data platform to support trading decisions within a financial organization. The position is full-time and based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analytics or data engineering, preferably with Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Interest in asset management and financial markets.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Expand the data platform by integrating new data sources and transformations based on business needs.
• Create internal tools to assist trading desks.
• Support the implementation of AI use cases utilizing data models.
• Manage projects that connect business and technology to deliver client outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and technology providers.

Skills

• Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt is preferred.
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for building DAGs is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud solutions is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AI use cases or a strong interest in leveraging AI for innovation.

Education

• Relevant educational background in data science, computer science, or a related field is typically expected.
