Cybersecurity Architect

Job summary

The role involves shaping and enhancing the security framework within the organization by serving as a Cybersecurity Architect. This position requires a blend of broad cybersecurity knowledge and specialized expertise in either Identity and Access Management (IAM) or DevSecOps, focusing on integrating security into the technology landscape from the outset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly in security architecture or engineering roles.
• Broad understanding of various cybersecurity domains and their end-to-end impacts on systems and applications.
• Experience in designing and implementing security architecture in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act.
• Experience as a trusted security advisor in major technology or transformation initiatives.
• Ability to create target-state architectures, roadmaps, and transition plans.
• Knowledge of secure architecture principles across cloud, hybrid infrastructure, enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical teams.
• A pragmatic, risk-based approach to security decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical cybersecurity roadmap.
• Serve as a cybersecurity expert in strategic initiatives and transformation programs, including cloud security and regulatory projects.
• Define and uphold security architecture principles, standards, and reference patterns.
• Provide architectural guidance across key cybersecurity areas such as identity, cloud, application, infrastructure, data, and network security.
• Contribute to the development of the overall cybersecurity strategy and translate it into actionable technical plans.
• Drive cybersecurity improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and various teams to integrate security by design.
• Review solution designs and major changes to ensure compliance with security architecture principles.
• Stay updated on trends, threats, and new technologies to enhance security capabilities.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, roadmaps, and design standards.

Skills

Education
