Corporate Controller (Finance, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing management reporting and supporting the offshore growth strategy through long-term financial planning within the Corporate Controlling Offshore team.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or business informatics.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial roles with expertise in controlling, accounting, and financial management concepts; experience in offshore business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality management reporting on financial business development to the board.
• Coordinate reporting processes for the global offshore business and model business cases for planning and scenario analyses.
• Analyze and comment on planning, forecasts, and actual financial statements in collaboration with operational controlling teams and accounting.
• Serve as a contact for internal inquiries related to planning and forecasting processes, focusing on accounting and tax.
• Map complex accounting issues in planning and monthly liquidity forecasts.
• Contribute to the preparation of EU taxonomy reporting and optimize planning and reporting processes.
• Assist in evaluating impairment tests and further develop IT solutions for offshore medium and long-term planning.

Skills

• Strong numerical skills for data interpretation and presentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly to management.
• Enjoy working in intercultural teams with high reliability, integrity, and self-organization.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Tools

• Proficient in IFRS financial reporting and SAP BW/BI.
• Knowledge of business modeling, information management systems, and data management is essential.
