A consultancy opportunity is available for conducting a comparative assessment of workforce engagement across five countries. The aim is to provide a detailed analysis to support organizational decisions regarding hiring employees and engaging independent contractors, focusing on legal, tax, compliance, operational, and cost considerations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in labor law, tax compliance, and workforce engagement models in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide practical, decision-oriented recommendations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. 501(c)(3) organizational structures and international labor regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of five specified countries, evaluating the suitability for hiring employees and engaging contractors.
  • Identify and analyze key legal, tax, compliance, operational, and financial considerations for each jurisdiction.
  • Develop a consistent framework and scorecard for comparing jurisdictions.
  • Provide clear recommendations on preferred engagement models and highlight potential risks.

Skills

  • Expertise in legal and regulatory frameworks related to employment and contractor arrangements.
  • Strong written communication skills for producing concise assessments and reports.
  • Ability to navigate complex compliance obligations and operational risks.

Education

  • Advanced degree in law, business, human resources, or a related field preferred.
