Consultant (Crisis Security, Copenhagen)

Job summary

A Consultant is sought to join a Crisis Security Consulting team in Northern Europe, based in Copenhagen. This role focuses on business development and the delivery of physical and cyber security risk and crisis management consulting services, requiring regular international travel to support consulting projects.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in security, intelligence, risk, or crisis management in operational or consulting roles.
• Strong knowledge of Security Risk and Crisis Management / Business Continuity Management best practices and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop opportunities.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and adapt to changing situations.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of a second language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development efforts, meeting sales and pipeline targets.
• Generate leads and manage client relationships across Northern Europe.
• Develop high-quality RFP responses and proposals.
• Deliver pre-incident consulting services, including risk assessments and crisis management planning.
• Manage consulting projects and coordinate with team members and third-party consultants.
• Provide crisis management response support on short notice.

Skills

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to maintain high standards of documentation and project management.
• Proficient in using Salesforce and other relevant platforms for account management.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in security, risk management, or a related field.
