About the role

Job summary

This role involves leading the global commodity strategy and negotiations for castings within a procurement team, focusing on low-voltage cables. It is a maternity cover position expected to last until July 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global commodity strategies and negotiate contracts.
  • Manage supplier selection, qualification, and performance, ensuring alignment with stakeholders on new product introductions and risk management.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee contract management for various agreements, including NDAs and Purchase Agreements.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives to meet commodity and module KPIs.

  • Experience with casted components is advantageous.
  • Initiative-driven with a collaborative mindset and a focus on stakeholder engagement.

  • Willingness to challenge established practices and improve processes.
