Commercial Engineer

Job summary

An experienced engineer is sought to lead and shape Standardisation, Regulatory, and Industrial Affairs initiatives. This role involves collaboration with industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies to foster favorable business conditions for technology and products. The position is based at the headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark, or regional offices in Europe.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 7+ years of experience in an international company within process or manufacturing industries
• Experience with technical standards and EU regulations is advantageous
• Fluent in English; Danish or German is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 25 days per year

Responsibilities

• Influence the regulatory landscape and standards in Europe and North America
• Collaborate with the specification sales team to support global key accounts
• Drive initiatives related to EU Energy Efficiency and Clean Industrial Deal regulations
• Build relationships with industry associations to support business goals
• Identify and translate emerging regulatory developments into commercial opportunities
• Monitor health and safety regulations
• Assist sales teams with customer inquiries related to regulatory matters
