Commercial Analyst / Senior Commercial Analyst

Job summary

This role involves supporting renewable energy projects globally through commercial, financial, technical, and strategic analysis. The position is focused on optimizing asset performance and long-term value creation while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in commercial analytics, management consulting, strategic advisory, asset management, project finance, or renewable energy.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured techno-economic analyses, sensitivity assessments, and risk evaluations related to O&M strategy and asset performance.
• Develop operational budgets and commercial inputs for renewable energy projects.
• Review contracts, cost data, performance data, and market assumptions.
• Build and enhance analytical models and tools in Excel and possibly Python.
• Identify value levers and commercial risks across renewable energy assets.
• Provide strategic advisory related to operations and asset performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.

Skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• A degree in a relevant field is required.

Tools

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python or other analytical tools is advantageous.
