Cloud Software Developer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of a large-scale data platform that supports enterprise clients by enhancing data collection, processing, and storage across cloud environments. The position is focused on building scalable, reliable cloud-native services using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a software developer with C#/.NET.
• Proven experience in building and operating applications on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong grasp of software design principles and system interactions, including APIs and data flows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Ability to work effectively in agile teams with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based services and components using C#/.NET.
• Build and evolve scalable data pipelines and backend services in Azure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on quality.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders across locations.
• Take ownership of features from implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Engage in technical discussions with a system-level perspective.
• Utilize modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
• Identify and address bottlenecks and reliability issues in services.

Skills

• Experience with data-intensive systems or data pipelines is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and analytics platforms is beneficial.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform is advantageous.
• Understanding of performance and scalability in distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software development or a related field.
