Cloud Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves joining an IT Infrastructure and Operations team to enhance Microsoft Azure cloud services and modernize system landscapes. The position focuses on hands-on work with cloud infrastructure, automation, and Microsoft 365 in a regulated life-science environment.

Qualifications

• A few years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID, including Conditional Access and modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Understanding of core networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls) and email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Experience in regulated environments such as GxP-compliant systems in life sciences is advantageous; relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and enhance Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and platform services.
• Automate cloud and identity operations using various tools and APIs.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services and manage identity access controls.
• Maintain email authentication and troubleshoot identity-related issues across various protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant cloud solutions in regulated environments.
