Job summary

The Clinical Trial Leader is responsible for the operational performance of assigned Phase III clinical trials, overseeing all aspects from preparation to reporting. This role involves leading global, cross-functional trial teams and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in leading Phase III clinical trials.
  • Proven ability to drive protocol development with medical and cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant clinical research experience, with at least 5 years in global clinical trial management.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements, including GCP and ICH guidelines.
  • Master’s degree or higher in life sciences or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global trial teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of clinical trials.
  • Drive protocol development and translate requirements into execution plans.
  • Manage end-to-end trial delivery, including governance and documentation.
  • Act as the main operational contact for trial progress and risk management.
  • Facilitate trial governance and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and influence skills in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and balance scientific and operational needs.

Education

  • Master’s degree or higher in life sciences or a related field; medical education is a plus.

Tools

  • Familiarity with trial management systems and data analytics tools.
