CFD Engineer (Engineering, Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves delivering advanced simulation services to address complex fluid dynamics and multi-physics challenges, contributing to innovative and sustainable design solutions across various industries. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field, specializing in fluid dynamics and numerical simulation (CFD).
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience with commercial and/or open-source CFD codes, preferably Star-CCM+ and OpenFOAM.
• Knowledge in areas such as Buildings (Cleanrooms and HVAC), Process/Chemical/Combustion Modelling, Air Quality and Pollutant Dispersion, or Machine Learning/AI is advantageous.
• Ability to manage quality work within deadlines.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, ideally Rhino.
• Legal right to work in Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Define and plan CFD modeling tasks based on client specifications and project needs.
• Conduct CFD simulations, including pre-processing, meshing, solving, and post-processing.
• Analyze simulation results and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Create high-quality technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Work independently while closely coordinating with team members, project managers, and clients.
• Assist in sales and bidding processes by providing technical input and proposals.
• Maintain and enhance CFD tools, workflows, and methodologies for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Share expertise and support colleagues across various departments and markets.
