Job summary

The role involves managing the Software category within a Technology Procurement team, focusing on strategic sourcing and supplier management to align with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a minimum of 5 years in IT procurement.
• Proven experience in software procurement, including licensing and SaaS agreements.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide clear procurement recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing decisions across various seniority levels.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic sourcing projects and category management activities in collaboration with Technology stakeholders.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost drivers and opportunities for cost-effectiveness in the Software category.
• Perform market and supplier research, engaging new suppliers to meet technology requirements.
• Develop sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, risk, and supplier performance.
• Manage strategic sourcing activities including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation and process improvements.
