Business Controller (Finance, Frederiksberg)

Job summary

The Business Controller will manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting to aid strategic decision-making and ensure financial health. This role collaborates closely with management to enhance processes, oversee budgets, and promote profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical and structuring skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience with Power BI
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly AX or SAP (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of HFM Hyperion (preferred but not required)
• Interest in data management and structuring
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills across various organizational levels

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports
• Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis
• Support and monitor two smaller factories in Denmark monthly
• Oversee central marketing and CAPEX expenditures on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Manage month-end eliminations and internal profit eliminations
• Execute monthly accruals and reclassifications to ensure accuracy
• Validate data as part of the transition to Power BI and various ERP systems
• Assist business units with ad hoc requests

Education
