Business Consultant (Remote)

Job summary

This fully remote position seeks a Business Consultant with expertise in the AECO industry to support strategic customers across Northern Europe. The role involves advising senior leaders and shaping transformation strategies to achieve measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in AECO, management consulting, or business transformation, with a history of leading complex strategy engagements.
• In-depth knowledge of construction, infrastructure, engineering consultancy, utilities, or similar project-based industries.
• Familiarity with AECO technologies and their business value, without the need for hands-on implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of operating models, organizational change, and governance.
• Practical knowledge of data workflows, enterprise systems, automation, and technology adoption.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or other European languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and events (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

• Establish trusted relationships with customer executives and transformation teams as a strategic advisor.
• Analyze customer objectives and challenges to create outcome-driven transformation strategies.
• Evaluate operating models and business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop target-state operating models, transformation roadmaps, and business cases.
• Facilitate executive workshops and align stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Advise on how AECO technologies can enhance business outcomes through effective workflows.
• Identify opportunities for data, automation, and AI based on business value and readiness.
• Collaborate with technical teams to shape advisory engagements and validate recommendations.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools
