Backend Software Engineer

Job summary

The role involves working as a Backend Software Engineer within a product team focused on developing features for a marketplace app aimed at reducing food waste. The position is part of a fast-growing team responsible for the delivery service, which allows users to purchase parcels for home delivery.

Qualifications

• Proactive and ownership-driven mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments.
• Extensive experience in Backend development, particularly within the Java ecosystem.
• Proven production experience with Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, messaging systems, and GIT.
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design and Clean or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3), ElasticSearch, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in building scalable solutions and Restful APIs.
• Experience with AI coding assistants is a plus.
