Backend Engineer (C#, On-site)

Job summary

The role involves developing and maintaining backend services and cloud infrastructure for an audit logging and data services platform. The focus is on ensuring reliability, traceability, and operational excellence in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C#/.NET backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Functions, Container Apps, and Data Lake.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicep or Terraform.
• Strong skills in CI/CD pipeline management using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of monitoring and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure-based infrastructure and container workflows.
• Build and maintain high-quality C# backend services and APIs.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting across the platform.
• Contribute to incident response and operational improvements.

Skills

• Proficiency in C#/.NET and Azure services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.
