Job summary

This role focuses on developing high-scale audio processing infrastructure for critical communication centers, including emergency dispatch and hospitals, integrating AI capabilities to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Mastery of Golang programming language.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, particularly SIP and SIPREC.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling foundational infrastructure.
  • Ability to ideate and implement complex features.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing architecture and development.
  • Familiarity with REST, WebSockets, Kafka, or event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration tools.
  • Strong passion for writing clean and efficient code.
  • Experience with WebSocket, gRPC, and CockroachDB is advantageous.
  • Background in real-time audio processing and WebRTC is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, suitable for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain systems that handle over 100,000 calls daily.
  • Develop foundational infrastructure utilizing SIP and SIPREC protocols.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into low-latency, high-throughput audio processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Engage in hands-on development with a focus on impactful design choices.
  • Participate in design and code reviews with colleagues.
  • Mentor developers of varying experience levels to foster a strong development culture.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
