Job summary

As an Associate Software Engineer in the API Gateway Platform team, you will contribute to the development and operation of API gateway capabilities that facilitate integrations across various systems. This role emphasizes collaboration and learning in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with C#, TypeScript, or Golang and modern cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with API development using REST or GraphQL.
• Comfortable with Kubernetes, Docker, and observability practices.
• Proficient in English communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate API gateway capabilities for reliable integrations at scale.
• Develop self-service tools and automations to enhance engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver secure and user-focused API features.
• Support platform operations through incident management and on-call rotation.
• Share knowledge and promote API principles within engineering communities.

Skills

• Familiarity with Lua, NGINX, networking concepts, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
• Exposure to open-source projects, API management, or platform engineering practices is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.

Tools

• Experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, and API management tools.
