Job summary

An opportunity exists for an ambitious and energetic individual to step into the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager in various restaurants in Copenhagen. This position serves as the daily right hand to the Restaurant Manager and plays a key role in achieving strong results for both guests and the team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to be a clear role model.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and clear communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and motivate others to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations to ensure high standards of service, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, structure, and goal tracking.
  • Train, coach, and develop the team, especially new colleagues.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling.
  • Ensure proper production flow, hygiene, self-control, and safety.
  • Handle inventory management and daily tracking of key performance indicators.
  • Act as a role model on the floor, demonstrating energy and oversight.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on team development.

Education

  • Relevant experience in service or hospitality preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and performance tracking tools is beneficial.
