About the role

Job summary

An experienced Analytical Chemist is sought to provide analytical support and regulatory expertise within the Regulatory Analytical Sciences Team. This role involves collaboration with internal and external teams to facilitate the registration of new products and the defense of existing ones, with a focus on quantitative residue analysis.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemistry is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in quantitative analytical chemistry for BS candidates; 3 years for MS or PhD candidates.
  • Proven technical project management experience.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to deliver high-quality methods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to manage urgent projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory projects involving a portfolio of molecules.
  • Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) or Study Director (SD) for GLP analytical studies and method validations.
  • Collaborate with project and regulatory teams to provide analytical chemistry support.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and GLP standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment within the organization.

Skills

  • Quantitative LC-MS/MS residue analytical experience, particularly with small molecules.
  • Experience with agricultural samples and complex matrices.
  • Instrumentation expertise and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments such as EPA, FDA, or EU regulatory bodies.

Education

  • A minimum of a BS degree in Chemistry is required.

Tools

  • Experience with quantitative extractions and sample clean-up techniques.
