AI Technology Specialist (Private Debt, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves applying AI, machine learning, and automation within the Private Debt team to enhance investment decision-making processes. The specialist will work closely with investment professionals to develop and implement AI-driven solutions that streamline workflows and improve investment analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in AI/ML, data science, software engineering, or automation.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, MLOps, or applied machine learning in practical settings.
• Proficient in handling structured and unstructured financial data.
• Ability to convert investment and credit processes into scalable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server Management Studio, Python, PyCharm or Visual Studio Code, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Copilot.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, with strong academic performance.
• Interest in financial markets is beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI and automation tools throughout the investment lifecycle, including origination, screening, and portfolio monitoring.
• Design AI solutions to enhance the speed, accuracy, and scalability of investment workflows.
• Create tools for automated analysis of investment documents and financial statements.
• Assist in drafting Investment Committee materials using AI workflows.
• Improve portfolio monitoring through automated data extraction and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with investment professionals to integrate AI tools into daily decision-making.
• Assess and implement external AI solutions and develop internal prototypes as necessary.
• Ensure solutions are robust, explainable, and comply with investment risk and governance standards.
