Qualifications

• Several years of experience in SEO, digital strategy, or content strategy, particularly in AI search visibility and answer engine optimization.
• Practical understanding of how large language models (LLMs) surface and cite information, with a method for testing it.
• Advanced proficiency with tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and AI visibility platforms like Profound or Peec.ai.
• Ability to write detailed briefs for writers and editors.
• Strong opinions on source authority and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience in B2B technology or consumer electronics is a plus.
• Comfortable training teams on SEO and AEO principles.
• Strong focus on content quality and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing audits of brand visibility across AI answer engines and traditional search.
• Maintain a prioritized list of influential external sources affecting AI and search outputs.
• Create a ranked register of gaps and opportunities for brand representation.
• Collaborate with digital teams to enhance the brand's website for citation.
• Track and report on visibility, citation quality, and relevant metrics to leadership.
