Job summary

As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing AI-powered tools for the life sciences sector, focusing on creating reliable and secure agentic systems that meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise LLMs and their APIs, including tool/function calling and structured outputs.
• Familiarity with modern orchestration frameworks for building agentic systems.
• Strong knowledge of retrieval techniques and context-engineering skills.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks and observability in AI systems.
• Solid foundation in data science fundamentals and statistical thinking.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI tools for life science teams to manage critical documents and data.
• Implement features like grounded retrieval, summarization, and document comparison.
• Create agentic workflows for complex business processes.
• Build evaluation frameworks to ensure system reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with experts in clinical, regulatory, and commercial fields to implement AI solutions.

Skills

• Strong Python programming.
