Vice President of IT Strategy (Manufacturing, Remote)

Job summary

This leadership role focuses on shaping IT's contribution to business success within a global production organization. The Vice President will lead the IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) Enablers unit, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence across IT and business functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
• Over 10 years of experience in senior IT leadership roles, preferably in an international production or manufacturing setting
• Proven ability to align IT initiatives with business strategy and deliver measurable value
• Strong background in IT governance, compliance, risk management, and performance measurement

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 10-15 employees in the Enablers unit, aligning IT strategy with business objectives
• Act as a strategic partner to the CIO, supporting governance and stakeholder interactions
• Shape and implement governance frameworks for consistency and efficiency across IT
• Manage portfolio oversight, including project visibility and progress tracking
• Govern enterprise architecture to ensure a sustainable technology landscape
• Empower internal IT teams with tools and processes for innovation
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to identify synergies
• Drive cultural change within IT, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
• Support cost optimization initiatives through clear metrics
• Build and inspire a high-performing leadership team focused on talent growth
