Vehicle Assembly and Service Technician

Job summary

The role involves joining a team focused on the assembly and servicing of unmanned surface vehicles in a maritime defense context. The technician will work closely with engineering, operations, and production teams to ensure vehicles are mission-ready and reliable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical service role within maritime, heavy industrial, or similar environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with teams and contractors.
• Strong planning and documentation skills, with a focus on safety and process improvement.
• Eligibility to work in Denmark/EU and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (50-75%).
• Service-oriented mindset with effective customer support skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and contribute to assembly and service workflows for the vehicle fleet, ensuring mission readiness and safety.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in various environments.
• Support domestic and international deployment and repair activities for vehicles.
• Provide technical support and training to colleagues and clients.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
• Assess and improve current workflows and assembly procedures.

Skills

• Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with planning and executing complex field operations.
• Familiarity with developing technical repair content and service documentation is a plus.

Education

• Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Proficient in using hand tools, rigging equipment, and other necessary tools for assembly and repair.
