Test & Commissioning Manager (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The Test & Commissioning Manager is responsible for defining and managing the testing regime, including functional tests and commissioning evidence, while supporting system integration testing and trial runs. This role involves leading test planning, execution governance, and defect triage to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years of experience in test and commissioning leadership, particularly in railway systems, SCADA, telecoms, IT/OT, electrical, station, or PLC-based systems.
• Strong understanding of test readiness, permits, witness management, defects, and evidence control.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple systems within constrained railway access windows.
• Resilience under pressure during commissioning failures and retests.
• Commitment to safety-first and evidence-driven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop T&C strategy, including test stages, commissioning sequence, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with T&C supervisors, engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure readiness for testing.
• Ensure all test procedures and equipment are prepared prior to execution.
• Monitor test progress, manage defects, and oversee commissioning certificates.
• Lead safe energization and integration testing, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
• Uphold ethical standards and compliance with the company's Code of Conduct.
