Job summary

The Technology Optimisation Manager will facilitate the adoption of modern engineering practices and emerging technologies to enhance delivery outcomes. This role involves collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies that boost productivity, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in software engineering, architecture, platform engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation, and their application in engineering settings.
  • Practical experience in evaluating and implementing tools and workflows that enhance developer experience and software delivery.
  • Knowledge of secure software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong influencing and coaching abilities, with a focus on collaboration and practical experimentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of translating feedback and data into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in defining KPIs and reporting for continuous improvement (preferred).
