Technical Project Manager (Manufacturing, Remote/Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of efficient assembly solutions, focusing on production environments to enhance innovation and cost efficiency. The position requires collaboration with a global team to improve assembly setups and support New Product Launches (NPL).

Qualifications

• Solid experience in developing or improving production or assembly cells.
• Technical background, ideally with a craft-based foundation and further education.
• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing operations.
• Basic understanding of machine safety and the Machinery Directive.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature assembly concepts, including production cells and workstations.
• Drive technical projects for new and existing assembly solutions.
• Contribute to cost reduction and optimization of current assembly setups.
• Support technology and improvement projects within assembly.
• Ensure robust assembly setups for New Product Launch projects.
• Define technical requirements and assist in equipment specification.
• Engage in problem-solving, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the standardization of assembly solutions for added value.

• Ability to create and improve technically sound and operable assembly solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration across various professional backgrounds.

Education

• Degree as Maskinmester (Marine Engineer), Mechanical Engineer, or similar technical education.
