Technical Lead (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves leading the technical direction of the company, focusing on architecture, tooling, and long-term technology strategy. This position is designed for a senior technical authority who will work closely with the Director of Engineering and other Tech Leads to shape the company's technical vision.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of hands-on engineering experience, including significant time as an architect or senior technical authority.
• Proven track record of owning multi-year technology strategies and platform architecture decisions.
• Experience leading major architecture proposals and navigating cross-team challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's multi-year technology strategy and drive the technical roadmap.
• Make decisions on build-vs-buy for new technical capabilities and assess emerging technologies.
• Define integration architecture and manage multi-tenancy and authorization models.
• Oversee product and data architecture, ensuring compliance with data residency commitments.
• Set observability, reliability, and security standards in collaboration with DevOps and Security teams.
• Establish and evolve technical tooling and platform standards as the company grows.
• Mentor Senior Engineers and Tech Leads, fostering architect-level thinking.

Skills

• Strong architectural and technical strategy skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and strategies.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with Rust, React, Node.js, AWS, and AI-assisted development tools.
