Job summary

This role involves providing strategic and hands-on technical leadership across AI initiatives in the healthcare sector, overseeing a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI researchers to ensure high standards of quality and consistency in AI product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading an AI technical team in a product-focused environment.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern AI development practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development workflows.
• Strong proficiency with the modern ML stack (e.g., Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
• Native English speaker or C1/C2 English certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global team, setting technical direction and ensuring quality.
• Define best practices and guidelines for AI-assisted software development.
• Conduct technical due diligence for third-party AI platforms and vendors.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leads to translate requirements into solutions.
• Stay updated on AI research developments and assess their applicability.
• Communicate technical progress and strategy to stakeholders.

Skills

• Expertise in AI governance practices, model evaluation, and bias assessment.
• Experience with multi-agentic flows and the infrastructure to support them.

Education

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field is essential.

Tools

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude code and cloud platforms.
