Job summary

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with Android components and experience in building or contributing to at least one Android application.
• Strong product design intuition and user empathy.
• Excellent communication skills and a user-oriented problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of major features and collaborate closely with the design team.
• Shape the future direction of the Android team.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Engage in cross-team discussions involving Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Review pull requests and support team members.
• Address critical issues and unexpected challenges.
• Manage feature releases and provide nightly builds for quality assurance.

Skills

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android UI/UX design.
• Understanding of testing importance and experience in writing tests.
• Self-driven with a focus on improving the app and codebase.

Education

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• Kotlin, Jetpack Navigation, Room, Custom Views, Jetpack Compose, JUnit.
