System Field Engineer

Job summary

This role involves solving technical challenges and developing hardware and software interfaces for advanced communication systems. The position focuses on early-stage development, system integration, and prototype solutions, acting as a bridge between R&D, Sales, and end users.

Qualifications

• Solid technical foundation in hardware, software, and system integration
• Several years of experience in creating working solutions by integrating different systems
• Experience in creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of networking and IP-based communication
• Familiarity with tactical radios or similar communication systems
• Understanding of USB communication and relevant standards
• Practical engineering skills, including prototype work and lab-based debugging
• Understanding of EMC design principles
• Proficient in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug prototype solutions and interface hardware
• Investigate new interfaces and translate requirements into practical integration solutions
• Create documentation for interface and integration
• Support integration of networked and IP-based communication systems
• Work with USB communication and relevant standards
• Adjust audio profile software for optimal performance
• Utilize basic electronics lab equipment for troubleshooting and validation
• Document work and development processes
• Travel approximately 10 days per year
