About the role

Job summary

This position involves supporting the Fixed Income & Equities Quant Development team by developing data pipelines and quantitative tools focused on ESG and climate analytics. The role is designed for a student who will work approximately 20 hours per week in Copenhagen, contributing to the creation and enhancement of analytical tools used by portfolio managers and analysts.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., IT, Economics) for at least the next 12 months.
  • Proficient in Python programming; knowledge of Streamlit and Shiny is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data transformation and presentation, including AI integration.
  • Understanding of investment concepts such as portfolio construction and benchmarks.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing quantitative analytical tools and improving existing ESG-related tools.
  • Support the team with various ad-hoc tasks.
  • Collaborate within an agile development team focused on ESG data analytics.
  • Present research and tools through web applications.

Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw relevant conclusions.
  • Methodical approach to work with minimal supervision.
  • Interest in investments, climate issues, and the ESG landscape.
  • Comfortable managing varied workloads based on stakeholder needs.

Education

  • Ongoing university education in a relevant field.
