Student Assistant - SCADA Engineering

Job summary

This role involves supporting the SCADA Engineering team in monitoring and maintaining data connections to renewable energy assets. The position is based in Aalborg and focuses on communication with German service providers and asset owners.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Currently studying a relevant field such as Sustainable Energy, Power-to-X, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the energy trading team and German asset owners/service providers.
• Support daily monitoring of data quality and flow from renewable energy assets.
• Assist with power balancing operations, particularly in the German market.
• Handle various administrative and coordination tasks.
• Receive training in power trading, asset monitoring, and customer interaction.

Skills

• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• Interest in the energy sector and renewable energy markets.

Education

• Enrollment in a relevant academic program.

Tools

• Exposure to SCADA systems and renewable energy asset management.
